If you were recently separated from employment due to the COVID pandemic, and have questions related to Unemployment Insurance, finding Re-employment, finding On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities, or if you’re looking to return to school in order to Train for a New Career, please review the resources below and contact us today!

 

Your local Waccamaw Works Staff cares about you and we are standing by to assist you with your next steps to re-employment. Services are currently being offered Virtually and by Phone. Below are some of the reasons you may need to speak with someone locally:

 

For Unemployment Insurance (UI) Related Questions:
If your question is related to filing an unemployment claim, claim status, or any other issues related to unemployment insurance, then please review our Q&A Guide and Tutorial Guides to Filing for Unemployment Benefits first. Waccamaw Workforce Development Board

Waccamaw Workforce Development Board brings employers and job seekers together in South Carolina. The majority of the WWDB members are business representatives. Other members include representatives of education providers, labor organizations, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, and programs participating in the one-stop system. In our area, Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments serves as the administrative entity and fiscal agent for the Workforce Investment Board.
