The Administrative Entity for the Waccamaw Workforce Development Board, the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments, is requesting proposals for Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker Services under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (hereafter “WIOA”) of 2014 for the time period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
The Local Workforce Development Area (LWDA) comprised of Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties is requesting Proposals for Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker Services as authorized under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014. RFPs will be ranked as follows: Program Proposal Synopsis (10 points), Experience, Organizational Capacity and Past Performance (25 points), Program Methodology (20 points), Partnerships and Innovation (10 points), Outreach (10 points), Budget and Financial Information (25 points). Mandatory Bidder’s Conference on March 18, 2022. Deadline to submit proposals is April 5, 2022 by 12 pm.

Waccamaw Workforce Development Board brings employers and job seekers together in South Carolina. The majority of the WWDB members are business representatives. Other members include representatives of education providers, labor organizations, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, and programs participating in the one-stop system. In our area, Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments serves as the administrative entity and fiscal agent for the Workforce Investment Board.
